Responsibilities:
We are a client-focused and research-driven investment management firm and the department is dedicated to building and servicing an institutional client base in Japan, covering public and corporate pension clients as well as financial institutions. Within the department, Client Relations Associates are supposed to work in a team environment, comprised of Advisors, Client Services Manager and other Associates, dedicated to client servicing and prospecting efforts.
The Associate coordinates all of client servicing activities and provides the central point of reference for internal and external contacts associated with a client relationship. Associates are in constant communication with various internal departments to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
This includes building effective and trusted relationships first and foremost with their partnering Advisor (s), but also with portfolio management, operations and client reporting, legal and compliance, among others.
Associates are responsible for handling all client, consultant and prospect requests specific to the relationships to which they are assigned. This includes, but is not limited to:
account management including new account opening/closing, guideline management,
timely and accurate client reporting,
client servicing and prospecting materials such as presentations and correspondence,
coordination of business development activities including RFPs,
collaboration with colleagues in other departments and overseas to successfully resolve client issues,
maintenance of client files and databases.
Associates are expected to be fully trained and competent in dealing directly with clients, consultants and prospecting relationships in a knowledgeable and professional manner. They will be provided additional responsibility as they progress within the role, which includes management responsibility within client servicing team from the perspectives of people management as well as the department and firm-wide projects/initiatives.
This position reports to the Head of Client Service in Tokyo. - 必要経験

・The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter eager to learn about or expand knowledge on all aspects of the global institutional asset management business.
・Candidates must be detailoriented and possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
・Will be required to be capable of multitasking within tight time constraint.
・Business-level English skill is critical to develop yourself in this opportunity.
・The ability to work successfully in a team is a must. Professional work experience in client servicing activities for institutional business is desirable.
