仕事内容
OTC Settlements globally support the settlement functions of Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income Derivatives, Foreign Exchange and Commodity products. The teams are present in Baltimore, Glasgow, Mumbai and Tokyo. In Tokyo, the team supports the Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income Derivatives and Equity Derivatives settlement with external Japan clients. The team also covers to supervise Japan Entity OTC settlement related processes.



Key responsibilities of this role include
Oversight of day-to-day production, act as the point of escalation for production issues and proactively engage with necessary internal stakeholders (e.g. Operations, FID Business Unit, Treasury) and external stakeholders (e.g. Clients and Agent Banks) to result in resolution. Conduct post-mortem analysis if necessary to identify any strategic action items.

- Escalate to Team manager and local senior managers promptly and appropriately, according to escalation triggers

- Participate in new product and new business approval discussion process to ensure process complies to Firm policies and OTC Settlements readiness to supporting the business

- Regular review of business processes with the team to ensure efficiencies are achieved and controls established are robust

- Ownership of business and technology initiatives, working in collaboration with global/regional functional leads in OTC Settlements and other stakeholders

- Manage team performance, provide coaching and guidance to team members for individual career development as well as team development

- Assist Team manager in management agenda, e.g. managerial reporting, risk management, team structure planning
必要経験
- The successful candidate will be responsible for completion of reconciliations, proactive monitoring and root cause investigation, in addition to reconciliation related project work and testing.
- The successful candidate should be a confident, well-rounded, methodical person with strong analytical skills.
- The successful candidate should have the ability and confidence to identify and raise risks/issues to management, and to suggest solutions to issues, process improvements or highlight gaps and areas of concern.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential (responsible for metrics preparation and escalation of issues).
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written are essential (requires dealing with global colleagues from other departments on a regular basis).
- Task orientated and inquisitive in nature, the successful candidate will be required to ensure issues and processes are challenged.
- The successful candidate should be self-motivated and have the ability to work consistently and efficiently to achieve goals either as an individual or as part of a team.
