The Client Service Senior Representative, Fund Accounting oversees the mutual fund accounting activities of several large, complex funds and/or a group of funds. The position ensures the firm's clients receive accurate and timely data and serves as a point of escalation for complex client issues.
Client Servicing and Inquiry Response
・Proactively respond to client inquiries on a daily basis.
・Work effectively with internal departments to prioritize client requests, deliverables and issue resolution.
Fund Accounting
・Maintain complete accounting records of commingled asset portfolios.
・Complete non straight through processing items requiring research and/or client contact, ensuring transactions are processed correctly.
・Analyze the processing of security and cash transactions for quality and escalate discrepancies based upon predetermined tolerances.
・Perform review and reconciliation of daily transactions, ensuring accurate calculation of Net Asset Value.
・Ensure daily, accurate, and timely valuation of all assets within assigned portfolios.
・Prepare and reconcile monthly accounting proof packages.
・Participate in projects including the coordination of audits and risk reviews.
・Assist senior team members in the preparation and implementation of client conversions.
・Introduce and familiarize clients with new technology, automation tools and products.
Technology/ Productivity/ Innovation
・Effectively utilize our internal systems to support daily client servicing deliverables.
・Utilize relevant internal technology solutions to effectively manage client inquiries.
・Ensure any accounting related issues or breaks are reviewed and resolved daily. - 必要経験

・BS/BA degree (finance or accounting related concentration is preferred), and/or equivalent work experience.
・Minimum of 1 to 3 years of Fund Accounting experience.
・Prior experience working in a client servicing focused work environment. .
・Ability to work quickly and accurately in a deadline oriented environment.
・Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
・Knowledge of corporate actions, equity, fixed income and derivative investments, and emerging markets.
・Comprehensive working knowledge of Excel; Bloomberg and Reuters.
・Strong ability to apply analytical skills to data, work flows numeric information and problem solving.
・Ability to communicate effectively with verbal and written skills both English and Japanese. - 予定年収
