- • Principal activities:
- Day-to-day client communication by emails, phone calls and in-person meetings.
- Manage client on-boarding process including KYC/AML through cooperation with stakeholders in regional offices and client communication.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including portfolio managers and investment specialists across regional offices.
- Create and/or update pitchbooks for Japanese investors/distributors.
- Support RFP and marketing.
- Miscellaneous projects and ad-hoc works.
• Work closely and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and maintain the high standard of internal control environment that generates the industry leading efficiency and accuracy.
• Enhance productivity by refining and simplifying operational processes and identifying priorities at every stage of the tasks.
• Provide direct support in new business efforts.
• Maintain regular check-ins with stakeholders and seek feedback for continuous improvement in efficiency, accuracy and timeliness.
• Bring new ideas, identify and address issues, and communicate regular updates to the team in order to improve internal control environment.
• Stay informed of the industry development and changes in regulations in order to keep the operational framework aligned with industry’s best practice. - 必要経験
- Required:
• 5+ years of client facing role experience including product specialist, client service, account management or similar role in asset management industry.
• Strong knowledge of various asset classes
• Language skills: Business level or higher in English and native level in Japanese.
• Bachelor’s degree or a similar education along with relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of nature of Japanese asset management business, industry standards and regulations.
• Open mind to multi-functional tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). The ability of writing VBA is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-propelled and quick learner.
• Prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
• Willingness to proactively take on "non-role-specific" tasks as needed to support the team and business.
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build and nurture teamwork, collaboration, and personal relationship with a diverse range of people.
