- 仕事内容

・The analyst or associate will focus on portfolio oversight and analytics in the Private Investment Portfolios and Co-investments platform. The ideal candidate should have Japan background, either a Japanese national or someone who is fluent in Japanese and has Japan experience, to strengthen our coverage of the Japanese GPs on funds, co-investments and secondaries. The person will work as a part of the Asia PE team which has investment professionals in Hong Kong and Tokyo. The person will be located in Tokyo office.
Responsibilities:
・Conducting due diligence on fund investments, secondary investment and co-investment opportunities including industry and company research in Asia with primary focus on Japan
・Performing in-depth valuation analysis of private equity portfolios and private companies
・Assisting in the preparation of due diligence materials, screening and investment committee memos
・Attending meetings with private equity firms
・Interacting with different parts of the firm to gather information necessary to make investment decisions or to execute investment
・Supporting PE Asia team to update investment related information
・Other duties include supporting Neuberger Berman's Asia private equity platform business development and client support (especially Japanese clients), as well as assisting creation of new private market products in Japan - 必要経験

・Minimum 3 years of investment banking, direct private equity investing or equivalent experience
・Strong analytical and quantitative skills with substantial expertise in financial modeling and valuation
・Exceptional academic credentials; a degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred
・Results-oriented and proactive, with a creative approach to problem-solving
・Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas effectively
・Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
・Ability to work in English-based international environment (e.g. academic or professional background overseas, frequent communication with overseas professionals)
・Fluency in Japanese and in English - 予定年収
