- The analyst or associate will focus on portfolio oversight and analytics in the Private Investment Portfolios platform. The ideal candidate should have Japan background, either a Japanese national or someone who is fluent in Japanese and has Japan experience, to strengthen our coverage of the Japanese GPs on funds, coinvestments and secondaries. The person will work as a part of the Asia PE team which has investment professionals in Hong Kong and Tokyo. The person will be located in Tokyo office.
・Conducting due diligence on fund investments, secondary investment and co-investment opportunities including industry and company research in Asia with primary focus on Japan
・Performing in-depth valuation analysis of private equity portfolios and private companies
・Assisting in the preparation of due diligence materials, screening and investment committee memos
・Attending meetings with private equity firms
・Interacting with different parts of the firm to gather information necessary to make investment decisions or to execute investment
・Supporting PE Asia team to update investment related information
・Other duties include supporting Neuberger Berman's Asia private equity platform business development and client support (especially Japanese clients), as well as assisting creation of new private market products in Japan - 必要経験
- ・Degree from a reputable university with academic excellence, education at an English environment institution is a plus
・Minimum two years of investment banking, private equity or other corporate finance experience at a professional firm on Japanese market
・Strong financial modeling and analytical skills and proficiency in computer programs such as Excel and PowerPoint
・Deep understanding of private equity business and Japanese private equity market
・Excellent communications and presentation skills
・Ability to multi-task with a fine-tuned attention to detail
・Team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects
・Languages: Proficient in English and Japanese - 予定勤務地
